Agent: Man United and Chelsea target is good enough for Barcelona and won't join Everton
Kalidou Koulibaly's agent has denied a deal being struck between Napoli and Everton in January
KALIDOU KOULIBALY'S agent claims the Napoli star will not join Everton and is good enough to play for Barcelona, according to reports in Italy.
 
The Senegal international has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League with Everton showing a keen interest alongside Manchester United, Chelsea, Southampton and Norwich. 
But the defender in order to prove himself in Italy under boss Maurizio Sarri. 
And despite the Toffees reigniting their interest in the 24-year-old, his agent Bruno Satin denies a deal could be struck between the clubs in January. 
“Could he move to Everton? No, Kalidou will not leave Napoli,” said Satin in an interview with Radio Crc.
 
“He’s playing for something important. His contract has a long way to go, and it’s only at the end of the season, if Napoli receive offers they want to consider then we’ll talk.
“I don’t know if the club wants to put faith in Koulibaly long-term, but I met [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli in Denmark and he’s very happy with the work my client is doing.
“When you want to put your faith in a player, you also tie them down with a contract adjustment. Giuntoli and I had a chat, but we haven’t dealt with the subject of a renewal yet.
“We want to keep the lad concentrated, because he’s going through a good period.

“What is certain is that if he continues to do well, then the offers will come, because Koulibaly is young and plays in one of the most sought-after positions in Europe.
“It’s not easy for a foreigner to play at Napoli, because there’s pressure, and to handle that isn’t easy.
Satin also revealed he and Koulibaly approached Barcelona before he signed for Napoli, and reckons he could one day be good enough to play for the Spanish giants. 
“Before arriving at Napoli, we spoke to Barcelona, and they said he wasn’t ready. But at this level, Koulibaly could also be of interest to a club like Barça, he’s grown a lot.”
