KALIDOU KOULIBALY turned down a transfer in the summer in order to prove himself at Napoli, according to his agent.
The Senegal international, who also represented France at youth level, was heavily linked with a move to England in the off season.Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United were reportedly interested, while Southampton and Norwich also made enquiries into his availability.But the 24-year-old centre-half opted to remain at Stadio San Paolo to fight for his first-team place and has this term started all but two games.“Koulibaly is still young,” Bruno Satin explained in an interview with RadioKiss Kiss Napoli.
