Arsenal are plotting a £22million move for Real Madrid star Isco, according to reports.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium with Arsene Wenger understood to be a keen admirer of the player.
Spanish outlet Fichajes report the Gunners are willing to offer £22m for the Spaniard's services but Real are asking for a higher sum.
The 23-year-old scored six goals in all competitions for the La Liga side last season.
Liverpool are hopeful of signing Porto midfielder Ruben Neves.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed his interest in the Portuguese star and is confident the Reds can complete a deal, according to the Daily Mirror.
Chelsea have been linked with a £29million move for the 18-year-old in recent weeks but now face competition in January from their Premier League rivals.
Neves would provide competition for fellow midfielders Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Joe Allen and Lucas.
