Real Madrid rival Barcelona as they hold talks with Liverpool star's agent
Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move to La Liga

PHILIPPE COUTINHO'S agent has held talks with Real Madrid over a potential move, according to reports.

The Liverpool star has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent weeks with Barcelona the favourites to sign him.
Spanish newspaper Sport claimed the 23-year-old would be "happy to sign" for Luis Enrique but fresh reports indicate their La Liga rivals have upped their interest.

Jurgen Klopp is expected in Merseyside on Thursday to discuss a deal with Liverpool
According to Sport [via Bleacher Report], the player's agents has held talks with Los Blancos which could see the Brazilian leave the Reds in an estimated £22million deal.
Coutinho has previously said he is happy at Liverpool - and with the news Jurgen Klopp is set to take over from Brendan Rodgers later this week - Coutinho will have to consider his options.
Brazil team-mate Neymar has already expressed his desire for Coutinho to join him at the Nou Camp and the midfielder admits he was flattered by the comments.
"I am totally focused on Liverpool," Coutinho said. "I heard what Neymar said but I want to do well with Liverpool. I am happy here and I hope this season will go well for us.
"Of course it is a nice thing that he said. Everyone knows he’s my friend but I am here and focused on Liverpool to help them do good things on the pitch.
Coutinho joined the Reds from Inter Milan in 2013 and signed a new five-year deal at Liverpool in February.
