CELTIC are preparing a loan move for Manchester United striker James Wilson, according to reports.
Wilson has found starts hard to come by this season with Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney leading the line for the Red Devils.
The 19-year-old has featured for the Under 21 side but could experience more game time at a higher level - potentially Europa League matches - should he complete a loan move to the Hoops, according to The Scotsman.
A move to the Scottish champions would see him link up with defender Tyler Blacket, who completed a season-long loan move to Scotland this summer.
Wilson scored one goal in 13 Premier League appearances for Louis van Gaal's side last season but has made just one appearance this campaign - coming off the bench in United's 3-0 defeat by Arsenal at the weekend.
The forward's current contract runs until the summer of 2019 with the option to extend for a further additional year.
Wilson had been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer with Derby and Wolves both interested in loan deals - but a deal never materialised.
