Xbox Live down: Microsoft confirm Xbox 360 users hit by new sign in issues
Xbox Live has been facing issues today on Xbox 360, Microsoft has confirmed
Console users started to report issues using the online service at around 9am, UK time, although fans across the country are now confirming they have been able to sign in again.
Microsoft confirmed on their official Xbox Live status page that the service had been hit by issues concerning fans logging in using an Xbox 360 console.
However, there has been no reports of problems using the Xbox One.
"Xbox members, are you having trouble signing in to Live?" an official Microsoft post asked.
"We want you to know our team is working hard and is getting closer to fixing the issue.
"We appreciate all your patience during this process and we’ll let you know as soon as we have any new information."
There were major problems reported using the Xbox Live service for Xbox 360 users in August, with many unable to log in or access key areas of the service for days.
It seems that the issues are mainly affecting UK and US users, although some parts of Europe are also struggling to connect.
