Team News: Man Utd star returns, Van Gaal's left-back solution, two doubts for Sunderland
Louis van Gaal could start Ashley Young at left-back against Sunderland
LOUIS VAN GAAL will be forced to field a makeshift defence for Manchester United's visit of Sunderland on Saturday (3pm).

Luke Shaw (broken leg), Marcos Rojo (hamstring) and Paddy McNair (unspecified) are all injured so Ashley Young could start at left-back.
Centre-back Phil Jones will return to the squad after making his comeback off the bench in United's 3-0 League Cup win over Ipswich on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Sunderland centre-half Younes Kaboul, who missed the 4-1 League Cup defeat by Manchester City in midweek, will return after serving his one-match suspension.
But midfielder Jack Rodwell (ankle) and striker Jermain Defoe (hamstring) are doubts for the game, while full-back Adam Matthews remains on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
