Louis van Gaal 'delighted' as Man Utd announce new four-year deal for striker James Wilson
Louis van Gaal thrilled with James Wilson's new deal at Manchester United
LOUIS VAN GAAL is 'delighted' Manchester United striker James Wilson has decided to pen a new four-year deal at the club.

The Red Devils boss said earlier this month that he planned to send the 19-year-old out to the Championship on a temporary basis so the player could get some experience.
But the England Under-21 international remains at Old Trafford and now has a fresh contract which runs until 2019, with an option for a further year.
And Van Gaal has high hopes for the United academy product, who is yet to feature for the senior side this season.

The Dutchman said: "James is one of the brightest young English prospects and we are delighted he has signed a new contract.
"He is a very talented forward player and has a keen eye for goal. His development is continuing in the right direction and it is clear to see that he has a fine future ahead of him."
Wilson was not in the squad for the 3-0 League Cup win over Ipswich in midweek, but there is no loan move pending for the striker, Van Gaal confirmed.

He said: "I think he needs to play but Manchester United's interests are always higher than the interests of the individual so I have doubts whether to let him go.
"Maybe we have to wait until December before we know how it is with our club.
"If we are succeeding in the Champions League and the Capital One Cup maybe he shall receive some minutes on the pitch from me because I will have to rotate."
