Revealed: Man Utd expect Luke Shaw to return before end of season after double leg break
Luke Shaw could return before the end of the season
LUKE SHAW has had surgery on his double leg fracture.

And sources close to the Manchester United and England defender are saying he could be back playing again before the end of the season.
The initial plan was for Shaw to have the operation to set his leg when he returned to Manchester.

But he underwent immediate surgery last night in the Eindhoven hospital where he was taken after suffering the horrific injury in the Champions league clash with PSV Eindhoven which United lost 2-1.
Sources say the injury – caused by PSV defender Hector Moreno's reckless tackle – was a clean fracture of both the fibula and tibia bones in the shin and the estimated recovery will be between three and six months.

Shaw, 20, will remain in hospital in Holland for the next 24-48 hours before flying home. He is being comforted by his parents who were at the game in the Philips Stadion.
A United statement said: "Luke underwent surgery for his injury last night and will remain in hospital in Eindhoven to continue his early recovery.
"Manchester United are grateful for the excellent care he is receiving and would like to thank everyone who has sent messages of support.

"A further update will be provided in due course."
Ironically, Shaw was due to make his first return to former club Southampton on Sunday.
He missed last season's trip to St Mary's because of injury.
