Kevin de Bruyne happy to fly under the radar at Manchester City despite £54m move
Kevin de Bruyne has now scored twice for City since his move from Wolfsburg
KEVIN DE BRUYNE says he is happy to fly under the radar at Manchester City despite being the second most expensive player in Premier League history.

The Belgium international admits he was the star turn at former club Wolfsburg but is more comfortable being just one of a number of stellar names at the Etihad Stadium following his £54million move.
“I don’t want to be a star,” he said. “I just want to play good. Obviously there is a big price tag but that was because I had four years left on my contract and Wolfsburg didn’t want to let me go.

“It is a lot of money but I am not the only one like that here. At Wolfsburg, I was the star but at the end of the day, I am not a guy who speaks a lot. I don’t want to be a captain - that is not my style.
“I have never been a joker. I just like it quiet with my family. I just do my stuff on the pitch to help the team.

“I am happy with the way my life has gone for 24 years and I am happy now so I don’t know why I should change.”
De Bruyne has scored on his first two starts for City and says manager Manuel Pellegrini's attacking style will suit him. “It was more direct at my previous club but here it is good the front players see so much of the ball. I have found it easy to come into a team like this.”
