Juan Mata reveals why Man United's clash with Wolfsburg is so important
Juan Mata is excited to play at Old Trafford tonight

JUAN MATA is excited to make his Old Trafford Champions League bow tonight but admits they face another tough test against Wolsfburg.

Mata signed for United in January 2014 for £37.1million from Chelsea but was cup tied for David Moyes's side.
United missed out on Europe all-together last season but returned this year after finishing fourth last season and beating Bruges in the play offs.
And after losing their opening game to PSV, United need to pick up three points against the Germans tonight to get their campaign going.

"I cannot wait,” says Mata. “In the first season I came here I couldn’t play in the Champions League because I’d played in it for Chelsea that season, but I was in the stadium when we faced Olympiakos and Bayern Munich and you could feel it was a different atmosphere.
"They were very special nights and we want to bring those back, starting against Wolfsburg. They will be tough opponents.
“Last season they had a great season in the Bundesliga and kept most of their players and bought new players like Julian Draxler, who is a very good no.10.

Juan Mata thinks United could challenge for the Champions League
"We’ll have to be ready for that – we know in the Champions League there are no easy games and they are a difficult team to face.”
But Mata is not getting ahead of himself this season and knows United face a battle to get out of the group to start with.

They face Wolfsburg at Old Trafford tonight before a double header with CSKA Moscow.
"Our first objective is to get through the group and then go as far as we can," he said.
"This club and the supporters are waiting for something big and we hope we can give that to them."
