Jan Vertonghen predicts big things for Tottenham in the near future
JAN VERTONGHEN expects big things for Tottenham in the near future, given the quality of their squad.
 
The north London club fielded the youngest starting XI in last weekend's Premier League fixtures, with an average age of just 24.6-years-old.
However, they still ran out , taking them level on points with Alan Pardew's side.
 
The win makes it now three on the bounce in all competitions for Spurs, and Vertonghen believes the future looks bright for club.
He said: "We looked very solid for 90 minutes, we played well at the start of the season but we weren't that focused at the end of the games.

"But things are looking very good. We have great young players and a good mix, so there are great things for the team if we can keep working like this. It looks very good for the future."
Tottenham will be looking to continue their good run of form as they face London rivals Arsenal in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
