James Wilson will have to wait till December to go out on loan after signing new contract
James Wilson has signed a new contract with Manchester United
LOUIS VAN GAAL handed James Wilson a new contract after warning the young striker he will have to wait to go out on loan.

Academy graduate Wilson, 19, has signed a new four-year deal, with an option for a fifth,  but has not played a minute of first team football in Manchester United’s 10 matches in all competitions so far.
The arrivals of Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial has meant he has had to kick his heels with numerous clubs in both the Premier League and Championshiup desperate to take him on loan.
But Van Gaal will disappoint them all for the moment because he is concerned he needs cover for Martial, Depay and skipper Wayne Rooney in the first half of the season.

Van Gaal said: "I think he needs to play but Manchester United's interests are always higher than the interests of the individual so I have doubts whether to let him go.
“Maybe we have to wait until December before we know how it is with our club. If we are succeeding in the Champions League and the Capital One Cup maybe he shall receive some minutes on the pitch from me because I will have to rotate.”
Van Gaal says Wilson should be encouraged by the fact he gave Andreas Pereira, 20, his first start in the midweek Capital One Cup win over Ipswich.
He added: "You have seen what I have done against Ipswich and it can be done also in the other matches, so I have talked with James and I think that we will wait until December."

Wilson has made 18 appearances for United, scoring four goals, since making his debut against Hull at Old Trafford in May 2014 in Ryan Giggs’ first match as caretaker boss. He won his first England under 21 cap against the USA earlier this month.
Van Gaal added: “James is one of the brightest young English prospects and we are delighted he has signed a new contract. He is a very talented forward player and has a keen eye for goal. His development is continuing in the right direction and it is clear to see that he has a fine future ahead of him."
After signing his new deal, Wilson insisted he will remain patient: “I have been at United since I was seven years old and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far.
“Growing up at the club has been an incredible experience and I feel it stands me in good stead for continuing my development as a Manchester United player. I am delighted to have signed a new contract and look forward to playing a part in the team for many years to come.”
