The new GTA 5 update will also include a closer looks at some of the Xbox One and PS4 fan content

ROCKSTAR have put the finishing touches to their latest content launch for GTA 5.

Players on Xbox One, PS4 and PC have had the chance to hone their skills for the challenges and freemode activities that were added in September, using the latest weekend event.
Apart from the exclusive t-shirts that could be unlocked from the 18 to 20 of September, fans have were also given the chance to buy the vehicles and gear needed to compete in games like Hunt The Beast for a discount price set at the 50% mark.
Completing any five of the brand new GTA Online Freemode Events or Challenges by Sunday earns $50,000 bonus in-game cash and will be paid into your bank by Friday, September 25.
Rockstar also had some treats for those PS3 and Xbox 360 players who have yet to make the jump to new-gen and are currently missing out on the latest update.
"Specifically for Xbox 360 & PS3 players this weekend, we're increasing the frequency on all kinds of classic Freemode occurrences, including Armored Trucks, Kill Targets and High Priority Vehicles - with lucrative rewards upon completion of each," a message from the developers reads.
"Amidst this mayhem, special Event Crate Drops will also be descending from the skies on Xbox 360 & PS3, with exclusive t-shirts that you might have missed out on in previous Events."

The new update also released the new Rockstar Editor on PS4 and Xbox One, including new features and tweaks for the PC version.
The studio have revealed that they plan to polish off their Freemode launch month by revealing the best new content created using the revamped tools.
"Stay tuned for the first Rockstar Editor contest for PS4, Xbox One and PC to be announced sometime next week - giving all the new budding directors on PS4 and Xbox One some time to polish those editorial skills before the gauntlet is thrown down."
It follows the news that Rockstar are focusing entirely on new content for GTA Online, leaving the fate of any planned DLC content in the future, dubious.
