Ex-Man Utd man insists Hector Moreno was not to blame for Luke Shaw's broken leg
Dwight Yorke believes Hector Moreno was not to blame for Luke Shaw's horrific injury
FORMER Manchester United man Dwight Yorke believes Hector Moreno was not to blame for Luke Shaw's horrific double leg break on Tuesday night.

Shaw broke his leg in two places after being tackled by Moreno during United's 2-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven.
The England international has since undergone surgery in Holland and will be out for at least six months.

Moreno has been criticised for the challenge, with Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal describing it as a "very bad tackle with two legs".
But Yorke insists Shaw's injury was just unlucky.

“It was unlucky. He [Shaw] has got into a very good position in the box and, because of his momentum, he tried to stop," he told talkSPORT.
“If he continued in the direction he was heading, I felt he may have been able to prevent that injury.

“But he tried to stop and the defender coming in at full-tilt managed to catch him with his back leg and that’s where the damage has come from.
“It was a fairly reasonable tackle, certainly not one with intent.
“He has been very unlucky. He has been playing his best football, not just for England but for Man United as well, and it will be a huge loss."
