WERE Chelsea right to let Petr Cech leave this summer?
Not according to these stats from opta.
The Blues replacement Asmir Begovic, who has played two games fewer, has already conceded seven goals.
In just over double the time spent on the pitch Cech has conceded four goals fewer and has kept three clean sheets.
The Chelsea new boy is yet to keep a side out.
Begovic joined Chelsea from Stoke and was thrown into the action when Thibaut Courtois was sent off against Swansea.
Courtois has since suffered an injury and has been ruled out for two months - with Begovic taking his place between the sticks.
Cech left Stamford Bridge this summer for Arsenal in a deal worth just over £10million.
And, despite his horror show against West Ham in the Premier League opener, has started strongly at the Emirates.
But these stats from our friends Oulala would suggest the Blues should have fought harder to keep Cech.
