Diego Costa has been charged with violent conduct
DIEGO COSTA has been slapped with a violent conduct charge after referee Mike Dean missed his off-the-ball incident with Laurent Koscielny.

Costa tangled with Kosciely in the Arsenal box and then knocked him over.
There was then an altercation with Gabriel which saw both players booked.

They carried on arguing and Gabriel was then sent off for kicking out at the Chelsea forward on the halfway line.
Later in the game Santi Cazorla was sent off for two bookable offences.

Charge breakdown
Costa has been charged for violent conduct for an off-the-ball incident in the 43rd minute involving Koscielny.
Gabriel has been charged for improper conduct for his behaviour after being sent off.
Cazorla has been warned for his behaviour after being sent off.
Both clubs have been charged for failing to control their players under the FA rule E20.
Both clubs and Gabriel have until 6pm Thursday to respond, Costa has until 6pm tomorrow to respond to his charge.
