Theo Walcott could become Pedro's replacement at Barcelona |
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo broke the news of Barca's January transfer window shopping list last week.
Among the 10-strong list were players from Newcastle, Manchester City and Arsenal's Walcott, as they club look to splash the cash once their embargo is lifted.
The Catalan giants have been prevented from signing players until 2016 and have since been stockpiling a list of potential candidates, and more importantly - cash.
German publication Bild report that Barca will attempt to sign Walcott after losing Pedro to Chelsea and Rafinha to a knee ligament injury, which will see him sidelined for the entire season.
However, the England international will not come cheaply given his importance in the Gunners squad and especially having just signed a new long-term deal with the club.
The 26-year-old has impressed this season so far, relishing his opportunity in a new attacking role, netting 11 times in his last 12 starts.
