Arsenal icon slams Olivier Giroud for 'childish' behaviour against Dinamo Zagreb
Olivier Giroud was sent off after picking up two yellow cards
CHARLIE NICHOLAS has criticised Olivier Giroud's "childish" behaviour that resulted in the Arsenal striker being sent off during their Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday.

Arsenal slumped to a 2-1 defeat after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored an own goal before a second-half head from Junior Fernandes secured the win for the home side.
However, Giroud was given his marching orders after being booked for dissent before received a second yellow just 14 minutes later for a foul on Ivo Pinto.

And Nicholas was critical of the Frenchman's behaviour during the match.
"Giroud's red card was silly," he added.
"The second yellow card was a soft one, but he was arguing with the referee after the first one. You're away from home, walk away.

"You've bundles of experience. Why do you want to get involved in this little mish-mash with a referee because he ain't going to listen or pay attention to you?
"He finds that you're being childish, so stop it.
"He ended up red-carding him because of a clumsy, silly little soft free-kick."
