THE Xbox One, PS4, Wii U and Android platforms have some pretty exciting releases coming in August 2015, including the Black Ops 3 beta, Hearthstone's Grand Tournament and Fallout Shelter.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta starts August 19 on PS4 and August 26 on Xbox One, PC.
A huge amount of buzz surrounds the latest COD title, with an all new movement system, Zombies Mode and four-player campaign to test if the series has truly jumped the Shark.
Because of the new marketing partnership between Sony and publish Activision, PS4 users who pre-ordered the game will get first dibs, along with the eventual DLC content.
All platforms have around four days to try out the multiplayer action before hunkering down to wait for the release date in November, 2015.
A PS3 and Xbox 360 version is being developed but won't be part of the beta offer.
In the weeks ahead, Treyarch say they will share more details about the beta’s launch, the included maps and modes.
The multiplayer beta is available to anyone who pre-orders Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PS4, Xbox One, or PC from a participating retailer, as well as the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store, and Steam.
Fallout Shelter is out August 13 for Android devices.
So you want to build the best vault the Wastelands have ever seen, eh? Well you're in luck as Bethesda have been busy tinkering away on both Fallout 4 and a hugely addictive mobile game.
It's been a long wait for those fans on Android who have to stay quiet while their Apple-device owning friends casually sat back after the E3 announcement and started playing.
An update is also set to add new content to the game on both platforms, Bethesda confirmed at Quakecon: "Whether you’re playing on Android or on iOS, Fallout Shelter will feature new game updates, including Mr. Handy as an all new premium reward.
"Have him collect resources inside your Vault, send him into the wasteland to collect loot, and defend your Vault from creatures and disasters, including all new Deathclaw invasions and Molerat infestations."
Hearthstone's Grand Tournament kicks off in August.
The third major expansion for Hearthstone takes place around the Argent Tournament but will feature a more light-hearted look at the lore.
The Grand Tournament begins in August, and will include 132 new cards, spells, weapons, and a retinue of Azeroth’s most renowned Champions ready to join your cause.
Hearthstone’s newest minion keyword – Inspire – activates after your Hero Power is used. Utilizing your Hero Power while a minion with Inspire is on the board will result in one of any number of effects.
Commencing in August on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, The Grand Tournament card packs will be available in the in-game Shop with either gold or real money at the same price as all the other Hearthstone card packs.
And beginning with the launch of The Grand Tournament, the Arena will no longer award players only Goblins vs Gnomes card packs, players will instead have a chance to receive a Grand Tournament card pack.
Rare Replay is out August 7 on Xbox One.
