EMMA CHANDLER reveals her latest finds on the high street from homewares to fashion.
How to wear... Late summer style
AS a stylist, one of the questions I am asked over and over again is how to dress during the tricky transitional period between summer and autumn.
The long, warm days may be behind us but it definitely isn’t quite cold enough for chunky knits and big winter coats.
The trick is to invest in a versatile piece of clothing that you are able to wear with or without layers.
This wraparound dress from Asos is made from good quality suede so will provide more warmth than a cotton sundress.
And the sleeveless style ensures you won’t be too warm.
Wear it on its own or with a tailored jacket now and when the colder weather descends simply team the dress with a fine knit rollneck and a pair of knee-high boots.
I guarantee this dress will be a key player in your winter wardrobe so be sure to snap it up now before it sells out.

Zara is every fashion editor’s worst kept secret.

Colourful floral Plexiglas brooches provided the finishing touches on Miuccia Prada’s autumn/winter 2015 catwalk.
But if your credit card won’t stretch to the hefty £505 price tag at Prada, I’ve found this amazing high street version at Oasis for just £10. (oasis-stores.com)
