Aleksandr Kokorin is on Manchester United and Tottenham's radar |
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly set their sights on Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin.
The Red Devils missed out on long-term target Pedro yesterday after Chelsea made a stunning swoop for the former Barcelona man.
And it's understood Louis van Gaal has now turned his attention to the Russian international in a bid to strengthen his attacking options before the window closes.
The Dutchman has just 12 days to bring someone in before deadline day, and has also been linked with a move for Southampton's Sadio Mane.
Russian publication TASS report that United have opened talks with Kokorin's representatives and are keen to bring in the 24-year-old.
However, Man United could have a fight on their hands, with Premier League rivals Tottenham also said to be interested in signing the forward.
Mauricio Pochettino is in the market for strikers having offloaded Roberto Soldado this week, leaving only Harry Kane and new signing Clinton N'Jie as viable attacking options for Spurs.
