Liverpool's £32.5m signing Christian Benteke handed famous number nine shirt
Christian Benteke completed his £32.5million move from Aston Villa last month
CHRISTIAN BENTEKE has been handed Liverpool's famous number nine shirt.

Liverpool signed Benteke from Aston Villa for 32.5million two weeks ago and the Belgian made a big impact on his debut last weekend, scoring a stunning volley in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Swindon.
"Confirmed: @bentekechris20 is LFC's new No.9," said Liverpool's official Twitter.

Some of the club's greatest players, including the likes of Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler have worn the squad number, which became available following the departure of Rickie Lambert to West Brom.
Meanwhile Tim Sherwood believes Villa new boy Rudy Gestede is a better targetman than Benteke.
The 6ft 4in Benin ace last week completed a £6m switch from Blackburn to Villa, who kick off their campaign at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Villa boss Sherwood said: "Rudy has a lot of qualities but one outstanding one and that's his aerial presence, which is immense.

"It's better than anything I have seen around in English football.
"He terrorises defenders in the air.
"With respect to the central defenders in the Championship, they are there because there's a great aerial presence in that division.
"So if he can do that to them, I am sure he can do it to the guys in the Premier League."
