David Moyes predicts Pedro could struggle in the Premier League |
DAVID MOYES predicts Pedro may take time to adjust to life in the Premier League.
The former Barcelona man sensationally signed for Chelsea this week after reports had linked him to Manchester United and club executive Ed Woodward had flown to Spain for negotiations.
The winger put pen to paper on a four-year deal for a fee of £21.4million and is available for Chelsea's trip to West Brom this weekend.
However, former Manchester United boss David Moyes has predicted it could take him some time to adjust to life in the Premier League.
He told Sky Sports News: "I think it can take time for these players to settle, and they must be given the opportunity to do that.
"The football in Spain is completely different than in England due to contact being much greater than it is here.
"I think Pedro coming into the Premier League will add to the quality that the league has got. It has a lot of great players, and Pedro is certainly one."
