Confirmed: Liverpool sign Taiwo Awoniyi and immediately send him out on loan to Germany
Liverpool have signed Taiwo Awoniyi
Liverpool have signed Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi and will immediately loan him to German second division side FSV Frankfurt 1899.

Awoniyi, 18, has signed having previously been at the Imperial Soccer Academy, but will move to the second tier of the Bundesliga because he does not qualify for a work permit.
Reds youngster Samed Yesil has also gone out on loan to Swiss side FC Luzern.

In a busy day at Anfield, Fabio Borini has also joined Sunderland in an £8million deal.
"I am delighted to be back at Sunderland. It is a club I know really well from my time here previously," Borini said.
“It will be emotional for me to play at the Stadium of Light again and I can’t wait to get back on the pitch as a Sunderland player.”
