Arsenal Champions League draw: Gunners face Bayern Munich in difficult Group

Arsenal have been placed in Group F alongside five-time champions Bayern Munich for this season's campaign.

The Gunners will also face Greek title-holders Olympiakos and Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.

Arsene Wenger's men will look to continue their impressive group record in Europe's elite competition, having reached the knock-out stages for the last 12 years.

 

Arsenal face a tough task against Bayern, who have eliminated the north London side from the competition in two out of the last three seasons.

However, they have more straightforward opposition Olympiakos - who are in the middle of a match-fixing scandal - and Dinamo Zagreb.

The Gunners will be thrilled to have avoided the same fate as Manchester City after they were drawn with last season's finalists Juventus and Europa League winners Sevilla.
