The gaming giants, who own various popular franchises including the Call of Duty series and Guitar Hero, had already formed an eSports division in 2015 as reports of a potential MLG acquisition gained speed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Speaking to GameSpot, MLG co-founder Mike Sepso explained that plans for an eSports TV channel in the style of ESPN can now be made possible by the deal.</div>
