MOBILE network Three UK has raised the cost of some of its contracts – leaving loyal customers angry.
Furious Three customers have lashed out against the popular mobile network after discovering some contracts had DOUBLED in price.
Around one million of Three’s most loyal customers could be hit by the price bump as Three has revealed it has ditched a slew of “legacy” tariffs.
These older Three tariffs have increased from just £15 per month to £30 per month, in some instances.
Three has written to customers, warning them the switch will be made automatically unless they choose a different deal, or cancel, within 30 days.
Angry contract holders have flooded social media to vent their anger.

Many Three customers have hijacked the UK firm’s #makeitright social media slogan to blast the company.
One Twitter user posted: "@ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport Letter from 3,saying my £15 plan being phased out, move me onto £30 plan How is this #makingitright #makingitwrong"
"What ever happened to @ThreeUK ? My £36 a month deal will now cost £56 a month when I upgrade? #makingitright #makingitwrong #shambles." another added.
Three has confirmed the price increase for some customers.
In a statement, it said: “We have a lot of tariffs we no longer sell.
“Moving customers to one of the new plans will ensure they can enjoy its benefits.”
Three is the currently fourth largest network in the UK, with some 10.5 million customers.
