RADAMEL FALCAO'S proposed deadline day transfer to Atletico Madrid collapsed after he failed a medical, according to reports.

Revealed: The failed medical which cost this Chelsea star a deadline day move
Radamel Falcao looks likely to stay at Chelsea

The Colombian striker has failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge since arriving on loan in the summer, scoring just once and struggling with injury.
The arrival of Alexandre Pato to join first choice striker Diego Costa and Loic Remy means Falcao is unlikely to play regular football.

And according to The Telegraph, Falcao's agent Jorge Mendes attempted to get the striker a move back to Madrid.
But the 29-year-old could not pass the medical, meaning he is likely to spend the rest of the season at Chelsea.

It is suggested Mendes may try to get Falcao a move to the Chinese Super League, having negotiated Jackson Martinez's £31million deal to Guangzhou Evergrande.
The transfer window in China does not close until February 26.
