ARSENAL haven't got what it takes to win the Premier League this season, claims Michael Owen.
The Gunners have been contenders this term and have had a strong start to the 2015/16 campaign.
However, a 0-0 draw with Southampton yesterday has seen them slip to fourth in the table behind rivals Tottenham, Manchester City and Leicester.
And former Liverpool striker Michael Owen thinks that's typical of Arsene Wenger's side and he expects them to fall short once again this year.
“Over the last few years they have come third and fourth and that puts me off,” he said.
“I don’t necessarily think they’ve improved, I just think a lot of teams have fallen away, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.”
“I think it will be another solid season for Arsenal and they’ll hope to pick up some sort of silverware but I think they’re just going to come short.”
