MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea are set for a summer showdown to sign Paris-Saint Germain defender Marquinhos.
The Brazilian defender is not first choice with the French champions with Thiago Silva and David Luiz ahead of him.
He recently hinted that he could leave PSG due to his lack of playing time.
He said: "Like everyone else, I always want to be a part of the starting line-up. But we all must respect the choices of the coach and management.
"I will continue to work to get my place. But it's true there will come a moment where I am older - you cannot just get used to sitting on the bench."
And according to Spanish based newspaper Mundo Deportivo, United and Chelsea will battle Barcelona for the 21-year-old.
It is claimed Marquinhos will cost around £34.6million (45m euros) but PSG are not under pressure to sell.
