TWO private planes are scheduled to arrive at Manchester airport tonight.

Is this the huge hint that Manchester United are set for a shock deadline day swoop?
Could Louis van Gaal pull off a late transfer surprise?

Manchester United are on the hunt for a defender with injuries to Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young.
And in their absence, young defenders Guillermo Varela and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have been forced to step up to the first team in recent games.

But according to the Manchester Evening News, two private jets are en route to Manchester airport.
Reporter Alice McKeegan wrote on Twitter: "There are a couple of private jets due in to Manchester from Oporto and Milan this afternoon. I wonder…"

United showed they were not afraid to spend big on the final day of last summer’s transfer window.
They spent £36m on a deal for Anthony Martial and he has since gone on to become a key player for under pressure manager Louis van Gaal.
