Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere reveals all on injury nightmare

JACK WILSHERE has admitted it's been difficult to remain positive as he continues his recovery from a hairline fracture.

 

Jack Wilshere has not played a minute for Arsenal this season

 

The Arsenal midfielder has not played this season after suffering the injury on the eve of the 2015/16 campaign.

Last week manager Arsene Wenger cautiously predicted Wilshere would be back in four weeks.

 

But while the 24-year-old revealed he was back in training, the cumulative effect of the injuries he's had taken a toll. 

"[My recovery is] going well,” Wilshere said. 

 

"I’m back on the pitch and I’m just trying to build my fitness up because everyone knows how tough it is to play in the Premier League. 

"I’m working on it and I’m slowly getting there.

"Sometimes it’s been difficult to stay positive, especially after the injuries that I’ve had which have been frustrating, but as the injury goes, you get closer to full fitness and you see the light at the end of the tunnel, then you start to think about coming back and getting involved in the team."
