Emmanuel Emenike has arrived in London for a medical at West Ham.
The 28-year-old, who has been on loan at Al Ain from Fenerbahce, has been linked with a move to the Hammers this month.
And Jack Sullivan, son of Hammers co-owner David Sullivan, confirmed the Nigerian was in London to undergo tests ahead of a proposed loan move.
He wrote on Twitter: “Emenike has arrived in London to under go a medical. More news soon.”
Galatasaray have made an ambitious request to strike a deal with West Ham for Dimitri Payet, according to reports.
West Ham have been negotiating a loan deal with the Turkish outfit to bring Burak Yilmaz to Upton Park.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, Galatasaray have responded to the Hammers enquiry by requesting that they take Payet in exchange for Yilmaz.
This bold move came after Galatasaray dismissed the prospect of allowing Yilmaz to leave on loan as they are said to prefer a permanent £7miliion move instead.

West Ham youngster Reece Oxford looks set for a loan move to Championship side Charlton.
The 17-year-old wants regular football and is poised for a move across London.
Oxford burst onto the scene this season when he started the Hammers’ first two Premier League games against Arsenal and Leicester, but has made just three substitute appearances since.
