MANCHESTER UNITED will be without Matteo Darmian, Phil Jones and Bastian Schweinsteiger for their FA Cup fourth round clash with Derby tomorrow night.

Louis van Gaal provides injury update on Jones, Schweinsteiger, Carrick and Darmian
Louis van Gaal will be missing some key players against Derby

Darmian was forced off in their 1-0 defeat to Southampton last weekend after a collision with Shane Long but his injury has been deemed to be not too serious.
Jones and Schweinsteiger have ankle and knee injuries respectively and manager Louis van Gaal is unwilling to make a call on when they will be back.

He said: “I cannot say [if they are close].
“Every time I make a remark about injuries it is always difficult because injuries have developments and you have to wait and see.”

Michael Carrick has recovered from a muscle strain and is set to feature at the iPro Stadium but Van Gaal doesn’t expect him to complete 90 minutes.
He added: “It’s very good he is coming back.”
