UBISOFT have finally confirmed that upcoming title For Honor will feature a single-player campaign.
The action-filled game will be released later this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC following a reveal trailer at E3 2015.
Ubisoft have since treated fans to a taste of multiplayer, which sees teams of four compete to own the battlefield alongside multiple AI soldiers.
Players will be able to select a number of different warriors including Vikings, samurai and medieval knights in order to defeat their opponents in Ubisoft's new tactical combat system dubbed the 'Art of Battle'.
And although the team behind games including Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin's Creed Syndicate are yet to confirm an actual release date, fans of For Honor can at least rest easy in the knowledge that unlike much-hyped titles such as Star Wars Battlefront, they will get to play an actual solo campaign.
Producer Stephane Cardin revealed: "One of the big questions we receive is about a solo campaign. We said that we will have a single campaign, and I can promise you that we will have a solo campaign.
"It's one of the key subjects we're working on on the floor. I can't wait to show stuff to you guys and we'll do it as early as possible like we did with the multiplayer."
