BENJAMIN MENDY is prepared to reject interest from Manchester United in favour of a new deal at Marseille, according to reports.

The left-back has long been a target for Louis van Gaal and it's understood the Dutchman attempted to sign Mendy last summer.
The Red Devils were knocked back by then Marseille boss Marcelo Biesla who claimed the defender was 'untransferable'.
United have since reignited their interest following injuries to Luke Shaw, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo.
Van Gaal sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action against Rennes last month and the Old Trafford side were suitably impressed.
However, French newspaper L'Equipe report the France U21 international is poised to sign a new deal with Marseille.
His current contract expires next year, when he could leave for nothing, but the report claims he is on the verge of extending until 2019.
