Everton close in on deal for Romelu Lukaku replacement

Everton are on the brink of closing a deal for Oumar Niasse, according to reports.
The striker has been in top form for Lokomotiv Moscow so far this season with  13 goals in 23 appearances for the Russian side.
And now The Sun are claiming that are on the verge of unveiling a £13.5million deal to bring the 25-year-old to Goodison Park.

The Senegal international’s strength and pace makes him the ideal replacement should Roberto Martinez fail to convince Romelu Lukaku to stay with Everton this summer.
The Belgian striker has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham and with Steven Naismith gone to Norwich Arouna Kone is now the only other striker at the club.

Tottenham to make last-gasp bid for Saido Berahino

Tottenham have not been deterred by West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace’s warning that Saido Berahino is not for sale, according to reports.

The 22-year-old submitted a transfer request when the London club put in a bid for him but West Brom went against both his and Spurs’ wishes by hanging onto their player.
The refusal led to a spat between player and club which saw Berahino relegated to substitute appearances and at times training with the under-21s.
But the England youth international returned to the starting line-up this weekend, scoring twice as the Baggies drew 2-2 with Peterborough at The Hawthorns.

Transfer Round-up: Lukaku’s £13.5m replacement, Spurs striker bid, West Ham £8.3m offer
Saido Berahino, Oumar Niasse and Emmanuel Emenike

And now the Mirror claim Tottenham are planning one last bid to sign the player before the January transfer window slams shut on Monday.
Tottenham and West Brom agreed a fee of around £22m for the Burundi-born striker back in August but could not agree over how it should be paid, so any deal will now reach a similar figure.

West Ham have £8m option to make Emenike loan permanent

West Ham will have the chance to make Emmanuel Emenike’s loan move to London permanent for £8.3m.

Fenerbahce’s chairman Aziz Yildrim confirmed yesterday that the deal had been done and that a future transfer fee had been agreed.
“We’re about to loan Emenike to West Ham United,” said Yildirim.
“They will give £760,000 to us for this agreement and they will have the option to purchase him for £8.3m.”
