THOMAS MULLER has admitted his new long-term deal shows staying at Bayern Munich meant more to him than the money on offer from England.
The German World Cup winner was linked with a move to Manchester United throughout the last summer.
And the Red Devils are believed to have had an offer of around £70million for the striker turned down.
Last month Muller signed a new five-and-a-half-year-deal with the Bundesliga champions, keeping him at the club until 2021.
And he admitted his contract renewal was a "statement" by both him and Bayern Munich.
"It set a signal that you don't leave FC Bayen even when England offers a lot with all the TV money," he said.
"It was a statement from me and the club that we stand together, feel great together and pursue goals together."
