SWANSEA are weighing up a move for St Johnstone striker Michael O’Halloran.
Scotland under-21 international O’Halloran started his career at Bolton but left after only making two cup appearances. But his form has been good enough this season to get him tipped to win full international honours for the Scots this season.
St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has hailed O'Halloran as the best striker in Scottish football so wants to keep hold of a player who has also impressed with his all-round creative play.
He said: "There is bound to be clubs watching him - but we don't need to sell."
O'Halloran was voted Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for November and has been also attracting interest from Rangers and Celtic.
The 24 year-old, who started his career in the youth ranks at Celtic Park before moving to Bolton, admits that he would like to return south of the border.
As well as scoring goals from the striker position, O'Halloran can also play out wide.
