MAURO ZARATE has reportedly completed a £1.6million move to Italian outfit Fiorentina.

Mauro Zarate looks set to complete his £1.6million move from West Ham to Fiorentina
 
The 28-year-old striker is said to have travelled to Florence today to undergo a medical, and upon arrival claimed he was 'very happy' to be joining the Serie A side. 
Italian news outlet Sport Mediaset claim a transfer fee of £1.6m has been agreed between the two clubs with Zarate set to sign a two-and-a-half-year-deal to return to Serie A where he previously had spells with Inter and Lazio. 
 
Bilic was said to be keen on keeping hold of the Argentine striker, but it seems as if a move for Zarate to return to Italy is imminent. 
With his agent and brother Rolando Zarate claiming the move to Fiorentina will be done 'by the end of this week.' 
"We are in negotiations to reach an agreement with West Ham and I am in London to find a solution for this transfer,” Zarate's agent told Radio Bruno.
 
"It won’t be easy, but we hope to conclude the move by the end of this week. Mauro wants to leave London and he really likes the idea of playing for Fiorentina.
"He is playing regularly for West Ham, so they don’t want to let him go, but his desire now is to play for Fiorentina."

Zarate has made 21 appearances for West Ham this season and has scored five goals.
