SAMPDORIA have joined Liverpool and Norwich in the chase for Inter Milan's Andrea Ranocchia.

The defender is out of favour at the San Siro, making just 10 appearances for the club this season.
Earlier this month, the 27-year-old rejected an offer to join the Canaries.
While Liverpool's current injury crisis in central-defence has led to reports that Ranocchia is among the players Jurgen Klopp is looking at shore up his defence.
According to Calciomercato, Sampdoria have started talks with Ranocchia and his representatives.
Inter are said to want a loan fee of around £1.8m (€2.4m) to let the defender leave.
