ROBERTO MARTINEZ was filled with rage and advice for referee Mike Jones after his Everton side gave away two leads and drew at Stamford Bridge.

Roberto Martinez was gutted with Chelsea's late equalsier

The Toffees boss insisted his side had controlled the game – despite shipping three goals – and that the late equaliser was both offside and after the allotted seven minutes.
Guus Hiddink agreed the goal was offside but believed the timing was right with Everton celebrating during added time.
This was frantic, frenetic and just a little bit crazy. After a dull first half of little note, it was great.

Everton took a two-goal lead. Threw it away. Regained the advantage with 90 minutes on the clock.
But John Terry hit deep into injury time to secure a dramatic point.
“It’s not a debate,” Martinez said. “It’s not an action that could be seen in a different manner. Maybe referees need a bit of help in technology.
“The whole ground should see how long is left with a big clock.
“To have a player two yards offside in the box is unacceptable.”

Martinez may have had a point with the offside but after his side were saved from conceding a penalty late on to Manchester City in the week he should see that things generally level out.
His rage should have been pointed towards the way his side conceded possession in the middle of the park and allowed Chelsea back into the game.
The Blues hit back after Terry’s own-goal and Kevin Mirallas’ strike, with goals from Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas.
Ramiro Funes Mori thought he’d won it before Terry came up at the end.
Everton’s 21 year wait to win at the Bridge goes on.
Hiddink was delighted with the attitude shown by his side – again despite seeing them concede three times and be completely blown away at the start of the second half.

Guus Hiddink was delighted to see his side battle back

"I’m very happy with the spirit and the ambition and the attitude of the team,” he said.
“Of course I’m not happy with the goals conceded but I’m very, very happy with the attitude with and ambition to get it at least equalised.”
The Dutchman admits it’s difficult for Chelsea to finish in the top four after another draw.
They are now 14 points behind Tottenham in fourth.
Hiddink has another problem with Costa going off injured. He has been sent to hospital for a scan and the Dutchman is hopeful he will be ok.
“He was in a lot of pain. We hope he is coming out with no problems," Hiddink said.

On any transfer activity, Hiddink said he didn’t want to go public until anything was done but said nothing specific was in the pipeline.
“Yes,” he said when asked if Chelsea need to move quickly in the market.
“If we want to, but at this moment we are doing nothing.
“We hope Diego is coming out of the hospital in good health and we go on as we are doing now.
“He was in a lot of pain but as soon as we know the report we will put it up.
“I always have the attitude that when something has to be done, yes or no, we don’t go go public before we do something.
“It’s not wise to talk but we are not in negotiations with whoever at this moment.”
