LOUIS VAN GAAL will quit Manchester United because he doesn't want to be sacked, according to reports.

Revealed: Why Louis van Gaal is ready to quit Manchester United
Louis van Gaal could walk this week

Van Gaal, 64, is thought to be on the brink of handing in his notice after another dismal defeat in the league last weekend.
United to record their sixth top-flight loss of the season.

The manager and his players left Old Trafford to boos from spectators as the club slipped five points behind fourth-place Tottenham.
And The Sun claim Van Gaal has finally had enough.
The Dutchman hinted before the New Year that he could walk before he was pushed, should confidence in his ability wane from the board.
And it is claimed United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has sought the opinion of the players as he deliberates axing the manager.

It is understood the boss himself has had talks with Woodward about his future.
He has spent over £250million on new players since his arrival after the 2014 World Cup, in which he guided the Netherlands to a semi-final finish.
But United appear unwilling to hand him more cash this winter, despite them being linked with a number of players - a sign that the board may be saving reserves for the next man in charge.
