JORGE MENDES is reportedly planning on uniting clients Jose Mourinho and Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes at Manchester United.

Revealed: The surprise plan to bring Jose Mourinho and midfield star to Manchester United
A Mourinho move to Old Trafford could see highly-rated midfielder Gomes follow

The 50-year-old super-agent has been touting Mourinho's services across Europe with Louis van Gaal's job at Manchester United at the top of his list.
Mendes also represents Gomes, whose performances at Gary Neville's Valencia have caught the eye of a number of Europe's big clubs.
And according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Mendes wants to bring both men to Old Trafford.

Despite the interest of Manchester City, Barcelona and Serie A club Napoli, Mendes is planning the transfer of Gomes to United – and wants him to be joined by Mourinho.
Gomes spent last season on loan at Valencia from Benfica before agreeing a permanent deal after making 37 appearances over the course of the year.
In the context of Valencia's struggles this year which saw manager Nuno Espirito Santo replaced by Gary Neville, Gomes has been something of a shining light.

The Portugal international is seen as one of La Liga's best midfielders and signed a five-year contract only six months ago, meaning he is likely to command a fee of at least £15million.
Mourinho on the other hand is out of work after begin dismissed by Chelsea while Van Gaal's position becomes increasingly precarious after a Champions League group stage exit and a string of dismal performances at Old Trafford.

The Dutchman's struggles having given hope to his Portuguese rival who has long coveted the United job.
And Mendes is the perfect man to broker the deal, having overseen United's purchases of Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson and Angel Di Maria, as well as a number of Mourinho's own managerial switches.
