MANCHESTER UNITED'S bid to sign Lazio’s Felipe Anderson is reportedly being pushed by their chief scout Marcel Bout.
The Dutchman has been a constant presence at Van Gaal's side since 2006 and is now at United as a coach who specialises in opposition scouting.
Anderson has been strongly linked with a move to United ever since the summer.
And it's been claimed this month that United have opened talks with Lazio over signing the winger.
Italian website Calciomercato have revealed Bout is very impressed by Anderson and has pushed Van Gaal and United to buy the player.
Yesterday, Lazio manager Stefano Pioli admitted he was unsure whether Anderson would remain at the club.
"I don’t know," he said.
"I’m not sure if he’ll stay."
