A £1BILLION gold rush is set to be launched tomorrow as the Premier League's big spenders bid to strike it even richer.

Premier League clubs set for record £1billion spending spree in January transfer window
Real Madrid's Isco and Everton's John Stones are top January targets for a host of clubs

That £1billion is the record amount that is expected to be splashed out by the end of this January transfer window to try to win a share of the £THREE billion on offer in a new TV deal next season.
Championship clubs - and even those below that - will also fuel the spending spree, desperate to move up into the big financial league after seeing the success so-called lesser lights like Leicester, Watford and Bournemouth have enjoyed since winning promotion.
Manchester giants City and United are likely to lead the cash stampede with potential  new signings that could see the bitter rivals fork out more than £100million between them.

United's bill will be the biggest if they succeed in landing Felipe Andersen from Lazio for around £35million, Southampton's Sadio Mane for £25million and another £10million for striker Yoshinori Muto from Mainz.
City, meanwhile, have their sights on Real Madrid's unsettled midfielder, Iso, in a £32million deal that United will also attempt to scupper if their other targets fail to materialise.
Chelsea are also likely to be big players in the spending league with interest in Shakhtar Donetsk's £30million striker Alex Teineira plus a possible renewed bid of £40million for Everton's England defender John Stones.

Crystal Palace, Southampton and Aston Villa are also hoping to ease Chelsea's bill with £20million moves to take Loic Remy from Stamford Bridge.
The transfer frenzy has been sparked by the record TV payout that will be worth a whopping £NINE billion over the three years from the beginning of the 2016/17 season.
That will be worth around £120million to each Premier League club. And that does not take into account all the lucrative spin offs that come with being members of football's super rich elite.
