MICROSOFT has updated both its Surface Book laptop and Surface Pro 4 two-in-one hybrid today.
Microsoft has updated its online store with some powerful new hardware – and a new colour for its Surface Pen.
The US technology firm will now ship two new Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 models, both with 1TB of storage, an Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM.
Unfortunately these top-tier variations are currently only available in the US and Canada – and are extremely pricey.
Microsoft's top-tier Surface Book is priced at $3,199, some £2230 converted, and the most powerful Surface Pro 4 at $2,699, £1880 converted.
The Redmond company made the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 available to pre-order in the UK earlier this month.
The first batch of Surface Book pre-orders will ship by February 18th, according to the Microsoft website.
Prices start from £1,299, which includes 128GB of internal storage, an Intel i5 processor and 8GB of RAM.

Microsoft charges an eye-watering £2,249 for the top-end model, which bundles 512GB of internal storage, a Core Intel i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and dedicated graphics.
The latest refresh to the Microsoft Store also brought a new gold version of its Surface Pen.
It's the same model that ships with the Surface Pro 4, but also includes the Surface Pen Tip Kit so you can further customise the experience of taking notes or drawing on your Surface.
It will be available in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.
