MARIO GOTZE has fuelled interest in a possible reunion with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp by saying: "We will see what happens."
Klopp is monitoring the situation of Gotze with one of Carlo Ancelotti's first big decisions when he takes over at Bayern Munich set to be whether to keep the World Cup winner.
Gotze was given his break under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, emerging through the ranks and becoming one of Europe's most sought-after midfield talents.
He moved to Bayern in 2013 when they triggered a £27.5million release clause, but he has fallen out of favour with coach Pep Guardiola. Gotze is currently injured.

Guardiola's move to the Premier League next season clears that obstacle and Bayern have already announced Ancelotti will take over.
But Gotze – who scored the winning goal in Germany's World Cup Final win over Argentina in 2014 - has 18-months left to run on his contract.
When asked about working with Klopp again, Gotze smiled and said: "I'm under contract here until 2017. We will see what happens.
"No one has contacted me yet."

Liverpool will back Klopp in the transfer market this summer but no approach has been made to the German giants in this transfer window.
Yet Klopp will retain a firm interest in developments.
