Manchester United are eyeing a potential move for £58m-rated Benfica wonderkid Renato Sanches
The Red Devils sent scouts out for a second time to watch the 18-year-old as he scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over Vitoria de Guimaraes last week.
Boss Louis van Gaal is keen on adding some attacking flair to his midfield, but Sanches will not be cheap as he is believed to have a £58.8million release clause in his contract after signing a new long-term deal in October.

Manchester United Transfer News: £58m star scouted, £65m Chelsea raid, £40m shock exit
Renato Sanches, Eden Hazard, Ander Herrera

Manchester United are plotting an incredible £65million bid to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard, according to reports.
The Daily Star report Van Gaal will turn to the Belgian midfielder after being told they stand no chance of landing Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, and will offer him a deal worth £250,000-a-week.
A United source said: “The club has to be realistic and realise that signing Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo remains a long shot, which means alternative targets come into the equation.
“Eden Hazard is certainly one of those and the type of player United need if they want to start winning trophies again.”

Ander Herrera could be set for the exit door at Man United with Juventus and Valencia showing a keen interest in the midfielder, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has struggled to secure regular first-team football at Old Trafford and both Gary Neville's Valencia and Juventus are believed to be tracking the Spaniard.
Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri was said to have been in Manchester to watch Herrera last week.
And according to the Daily Telegraph, Juventus are considering a £25million bid, but United are holding out nearer to £40m if they consider letting him go.
